ABOUT US
Our Business Philisophy: Partnering for Success
We strongly believe in creating partnerships with our clients, working together to achieve success. We understand the strain of running your own business and the toll it can take on your personal life. We want to inspire you to reach your professional goals while maintaining balance with your personal goals.
We believe a set of books reveals the financial story of a business. The most gratifying part of our work is partnering with our clients by listening to their story, understanding pain points, and working together to discover solutions to increase productivity and profits. We design business accounting systems customized to your needs.
EverythingCounts has been founded as a virtual firm, making use of cloud accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, among others, to streamline operations and the flow of data. We won’t be taking up your office space or using your equipment. You only need an internet connection and document scanner to effectively transfer information.
Our pricing philosophy is to provide value at a set price so our clients know what services to expect on a monthly basis and how much they will be spending. Under a fixed price agreement, we determine together the scope of services that you need, and you will know upfront what end results to expect for the price paid. If you only need occasional assistance we also offer by-the-hour rates for training, accounting cleanup, and software assistance.

Carrie Naughton brings a creative mindset and a penchant for teaching to the field of Accounting. With a degree in English and a background in writing, restaurant work, and library services, they have spent the past twenty years in the field – as a Certified Bookkeeper for public accounting firms in Wyoming and Arizona, and as owner of Novel Bookkeeping LLC.
Carrie joined EverythingCounts as Operations Manager in 2024, bringing experience from multiple industries, including nonprofits, medical/dental, retail, and hospitality, alongside niche accounting skills such as Cleanup, Fund Accounting, and Grants Management. As a Certified Quickbooks Online ProAdvisor and Excel nerd who loves to set up file management systems, design workflows, and hone procedural manuals, Carrie understands the demands of running a business while keeping the books, and they enjoy helping small businesses and nonprofits streamline and improve their internal systems. Carrie is as equally skilled at training in-house staff to manage day to day bookkeeping as they are providing full service accounting and financials. Most importantly, they believe that accounting can be both fun and empowering – math skills are great, but so are honest communication, patience, and a sense of humor.
A queer poet and fiction writer, Carrie spends a lot of free time writing novels, riding bikes, running, camping, listening to music, and making tiny art with a ridiculous amount of colored pencils and ink pens.
